Mark your calendars for our third of what seems to be a bi-annual tradition here at the Church of the Resurrection – the Arts Cafe! This is an evening where our community, made up of children of our Creator God, come together to share and celebrate each others’ creative giftings. It’s a great place to invite friends and neighbours also. The event will begin at 7pm on Friday, November 17th with a series of performances upstairs, followed by a cafe gallery time as we explore visual art pieces in the basement. Submissions for performance pieces are open until October 30th or until all slots are filled (first come, first serve). Visual art submissions open until November 12th. If you’re keen to contribute a piece of visual art but would love to have some guidance or company as you create, consider joining the Maker Night the week prior (Tuesday, November 7th).
