God calls us to pray. Prayer is an essential part of our walk with Jesus. We know from Scripture that Jesus spent a lot of time with His heavenly Father in prayer. If Jesus needed to pray then it is most certain that we need to follow in His footsteps in prayer. Jesus also calls us to pray for one another. Scripture tells us to “carry each other’s burdens and so fulfil the law of Christ” (Gal 6:2).
