What about kids?
Church of the Resurrection is located in a community of families and has become a parish of families. This is the place for kids. We’re totally committed to supporting the spiritual formation of kids, teens, and their parents and caregivers. We believe in worship with kids as a church family.
We have a full children’s ministry program Sunday mornings at the 10:30 am service, with nursery (0-2 years), Resurrection Kids (preschool-grade 5), and Junior Youth (grades 6-8) and Senior Youth (grades 9-12) gathering together for worship, teaching, and, of course, good fun. We also have many activities and groups that include all ages together. For more information please join us on Sunday or fill in the contact form.
What about the Bible?
Even if you’ve never opened it before, we believe the Bible was written for you. It is God’s narrative, revealing His redemptive plan for the whole world. It is also God’s way of talking to you about His love for you. And it is where you learn most about His son, Jesus. We believe the Bible can be accessible to everyone, and is one of the main ways that God has revealed Himself — and continues to reveal Himself to us all. It also shows us the way to live, love and serve. Together, we read and talk about the bible, teach and preach about it, and study it individually and in groups.
And guess what? Even those who’ve been in church all their lives are still learning! No one expects you to be an expert. We’re all learning together, and we invite you to learn with us, as we meet Jesus in the sacred words of the Bible.
Is your building accessible?
Our building is wheelchair accessible, with a lift that services each floor. When you arrive, if you need the elevator, enter through the door on the north side (there is a small driveway). There’s a doorbell there, and someone will come to assist you with the lift.
